The release of recent updates over the past few months has significantly impacted the gear landscape in ARC Raiders; for instance, Flashpoint update introduced two new weapons and a new quick-use item.
However, acquiring these new weapons or other high-tier ARC Raiders items can be quite challenging. Furthermore, due to the game’s expedition mechanics, every reset presents a difficult pioneering phase where you must start from scratch.
Consequently, even that ARC Raiders has been live for over six months and the meta-game has evolved, it remains highly relevant to discuss low-budget weapons and effective strategies for utilizing them.
With this in mind, IGGM has selected the classic low-tier weapon, Arpeggio, to demonstrate which equally low-budget attachments you can pair with it to engage both ARC units and other players effectively.
Arpeggio overview
Based on the game’s item rarity classification system, Arpeggio falls into Uncommon tier (marked in green). It is an assault rifle chambered for medium-caliber ammunition, firing a three-round burst with every pull of the trigger.
You can find Arpeggio directly during Raids, or you can craft a Level 1 version at Gunsmith 2 station by gathering 6 Mechanical Components and 6 Simple Gun Parts.
Given its low-tier base stats, IGGM generally recommends that you upgrade Arpeggio to its maximum level (Level 4) before taking it into combat.
With each upgrade level, Arpeggio’s fire rate and durability increase by 20% and 10% respectively, while its reload time is correspondingly reduced.
The required upgrade materials are as follows:
-
Arpeggio 2: 1x Arpeggio 1, 4x Mechanical Components, 1x Simple Gun Parts
-
Arpeggio 3: 1x Arpeggio 2, 5x Mechanical Components, 1x Medium Gun Parts
-
Arpeggio 4: 1x Arpeggio 3, 5x Mechanical Components, 1x Medium Gun Parts
How to choose attachments?
If you were to compare Arpeggio against high-output strictly, top-tier ARC Raiders weapons, its raw damage output might not seem particularly impressive.
However, considering its premise as a low-budget, low-tier weapon, Arpeggio’s only significant drawback is its relatively low fire rate.
Fortunately, this specific shortcoming can be effectively resolved through direct weapon upgrades. Next, we highly recommend equipping your Arpeggio with Compensator 2 and Extended Medium Mag 2.

If you already possess the blueprints, crafting is, of course, the quickest method. If you do not, ARC Raiders blueprints for sale at IGGM offer a solution to your predicament. You can then craft them using the other necessary materials you have collected:
-
Compensator 2: 2x Mechanical Components, 4x Wires
-
Extended Medium Mag 2: 2x Mechanical Components, 3x Steel Springs
If you prefer a more effortless approach, we also offer item trading services. We guarantee the security and speed of every transaction, allowing you to construct your ideal gear builds freely!
Alternatively, these two attachments can also be obtained through scavenging or by trading with Shani. The specific method you choose depends entirely on your personal needs.
Compensator 2
The function of this attachment is to moderately reduce the bullet spread per shot when firing. Simply put, it ensures weapon accuracy by preventing the crosshair from expanding.
Generally speaking, as long as you are aiming, your first shot will be 100% accurate, the bullet will land precisely where you are aiming. However, as you continue to fire, the bullet spread will gradually increase, though every weapon does have a specific maximum spread limit.
Based on this, Compensator works by slowing down the rate at which bullet spread increases with each shot, while also reducing the overall maximum spread range.
Since there is a limited number of mod slots available for each weapon, a common debate within ARC Raiders community is whether Compensator or Muzzle Brake is the more worthwhile attachment to equip. Interestingly, both options are compatible with Arpeggio.
However, after a comprehensive comparison, we still recommend Compensator 2. This is because Muzzle Brake reduces recoil, a characteristic that you can actually learn to manage and minimize yourself through practice.
In contrast, at least within ARC Raiders, bullet spread is an issue that can only be effectively addressed by equipping specific attachments.
Extended Medium Mag 2
The function of this attachment is to moderately increase the medium-ammo capacity of compatible weapons’ magazines. In addition to Arpeggio, this attachment can also be equipped on Osprey, Renegade, Torrente, Tempest, and Venator.
Since each shot consumes three rounds of ammunition, Arpeggio places a relatively high demand on your ammo supply. Therefore, by increasing your overall magazine capacity, you reduce the frequency with which you need to reload during combat, thereby boosting your overall combat efficiency.
How does this entire build perform in actual combat?
With the aforementioned components assembled, the low-budget Arpeggio build featured in this guide is essentially complete. IGGM selected Stella Montis map as the battlefield to conduct the final performance tests.
Assuming opposing players are not acting with malicious intent, this configuration is more than sufficient for handling standard PvP engagements; at the very least, it gives you a solid opportunity to extract with a substantial amount of loot.
However, when it comes to engaging ARCs, this weapon possesses only Moderate armor penetration rating. Consequently, it is not well-suited for taking on large, heavily armored ARC adversaries.
Nevertheless, thanks to its three-round burst fire mode, combined with our recommended mod setup, provided your marksmanship is up to the task, you can effectively utilize this build to take down smaller ARCs, particularly those that are airborne.
In summary, within combat scenarios where Arpeggio is suited to excel, it delivers a solid and reliable performance. Furthermore, when paired with other low-budget components, it achieves even greater effectiveness, making it a choice that is absolutely worth making!
